Here's Amy's chocolate cake recipe... I love it because it's semi homemade and quick to make. Your really just improving on a box cake mix. This cake is so moist, usually a cake would dry out after a few days. This one doesn't, it actually gets better the longer it sits.
1 Devils Food cake mix
1 small box of fudge chocolate instant pudding mix
½ cup sugar
¾ cup water
¾ cup oil
Mix
Add 4 eggs
8 oz sour cream
1 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
Bake in greased bundt pan at 350
I’ve played around with the cooking time on this cake, I think 1 hour 5 minutes is what works best. This cake needs atleast 1 hour.
Glaze
4 tablespoons cocoa
5 tablespoons butter
2 cups powered sugar
¼ cup water
Melt butter in saucepan, slowly whisk in cocoa. Add water and slowly whisk in powdered sugar. Stir and let simmer for a couple of minutes, constantly stirring. Drizzle immediately over cake.
