White Bread or Rolls

White Bread or rolls
3 cups warm water
2 Tablespoons Yeast
(Let Yeast work)
While yeast is working... combine the following ingredients in bowl and heat in microwave until milk in scalded.
1 cup of milk
1/3 cup sugar
4 teaspoons salt
3/4 cube butter or margarine
Add heated mixture to yeast mixture.
Beat in 6 cups of flour, mix well.
Add another 5-6 cups of flour. Just enough until your dough forms into a ball and it's not super sticky. Knead for 10 minutes. I knead the dough in my kitchen aid for the first 5 minutes, then I hand knead for the last 5 minutes.
Put dough in large greased tupperware bowl. Cover and let rise until double. Depending on the warmth of your kitchen... usually about 1 1/2 hour. Punch down, let the dough rest for 15 minutes. Divide into 3-4 large loaves. Let it rise again in bread pans. Brush tops of bread with egg wash(1 egg, 1 tablespoon of milk). Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. If it looks like your bread it getting too brown while baking, I will cover mine with foil while it cooks for the last 5 minutes or so. After bread is baked, brush tops of bread with butter.
For Rolls...
Add 2 beaten eggs after the first 6 cups of flour. Then add the rest of the flour. Use a little less flour for a nice soft roll.
